Over two days leading experts discussed sustainable solutions for the Jakarta of the future. This seminar was an excellent opportunity to learn, network and identify new business opportunities in the sectors of housing, transportation, waste management and finance.
Forty speakers in total ensured a unique range of local and international perspectives were present, including experience and case studies gained in China, Hong Kong, India, Europe and not least Indonesia.
- Day One: Towards a connected, viable and livable city. Keynote speeches devoted to knowledge sharing were followed by breakout sessions covering three topics – visions and strategies, drivers and trends and mutual partnerships for long-term urban development.
- Day Two: Enabling the First Step for Sustainable Jakarta. Keynote speeches focused on financing and investment opportunities were followed by breakout sessions devoted to specific areas in need of development – waste and water, mobility, energy-efficiency and affordable housing.
Morning plenary speeches were followed by three key discussion themes each afternoon.
