Preparing for 30 million people
Several factors driving population growth are not expected to ease:
- Pull migration: caused by economic aspirations and the highest available living standards in Indonesi.
- Push migration: the high population density in Java and Sumatera.
- Population growth: increasing fertility and decreasing mortality rate.
